Just wanted to let you know that your project will require some time to get the effect/look you want. Since the project is NOT guaranteed, artists are not so willing to invest hours of time when there is a likely chance that the project will not be followed up with any kind of payment. That is likely why you are not getting entries. Thanks for your invite. I will TRY to find time to contribute.

I agree that it takes time. I am all for paying for people's time. I can afford a little more then the budget presented here. The problem is that if none delivers what I need, I am stuck sending this money on a worthless font face that I do not want. So I am all for guaranteeing payment and paying an artist for his work, however, if the work is not to my standard, I will be the one losing money. So far I do not have any confidence in these designs, so how can I even consider to guarantee someone this money … Thanks, Claud.

Claud, I understand completely how hard it is . Project owner and artists are both in a hard place. I see your are a small contractor and this ins an investment on your part. As I said, I will truly try to find time to work on your project. :) I just wanted you to know why the artists are so reluctant.

I am actually not sure what a vector design really is. I am assuming that in this standard I am able to change the viewing angle of the rendering, which would be nice. I am open to whatever works for the artist, as long as the look works. Having the ability to turn the design to fit different surfaces would be great.

Vector format enables you to scale the image infinitely without loss of quality, as it is lines and not pixels.Ideal for printing business card, stationary etc.
However, a high definition photoshop rendering could also work.

Hello and thank you for the invitation. I have submitted an idea I hope you find pleasing. I am still working on how to do bolts, but if you could provide feedback on what I have done thus far, I will know to proceed with this design. It took a while and do not want to spin my wheels, so to speak! ;)
