Brief de Design Facebook

Background - Kopiko is the world’s best selling coffee confectionery brand. Although new to the UK, it has been sold in 60 other countries for many years. Kopiko sweets are available in the UK in two varieties – creamy cappuccino and original coffee. Both are made with Java coffee beans for the authentic taste and aroma of real coffee. Kopiko sweets appeal to anyone who loves coffee, so the potential target audience is huge.

Campaign objectives - We are looking to create a 'buzz' around the product. We want to set up an attractive and engaging new Kopiko UK Facebook page which we can use as the basis for further activities to create interest. eg. Competitions where people have to 'like' the page etc.

Target audience. Potentially anyone who likes coffee and adults who likes sweets/confectionery. (Not to be aimed at children.) It needs to be positioned as a premium product.

We have two product lines in the UK - original rich coffee sweets and creamy cappuccino sweets.

We don''t sell actual coffee in the UK, although elsewhere in the world Kopiko coffee is sold (eg. Kopiko 3 in1) so in the UK we need to focus on the fact that we are selling sweets which which taste of coffee rather than coffee as a drink.

It would be good to see some designs which give more emphasis on the cappuccino flavour, which is smooth and creamy and contains milk. The the cappuccino variety is probably the most popular in the UK.
