Not to further complicate things but, having worked in book publishing for many years, I can tell you C format is 234x153mm and Demy is 216x135mm. (See Australia's biggest book publisher for details: http://www.griffinpress.com.au/resource-centre/standard-formats). Could you clarify which one you require? Thank you.

I am totally confused then because Wikipedia says this:

Paperbacks include inexpensive mass-market paperbacks, in the standard "pocketbook" format. These are generally printed on low quality paper, which will discolor and disintegrate over a period of decades. More expensive "trade paperbacks" in larger formats are printed on quality paper such as acid-free paper.
"A Format" paperbacks are 110mm x 178mm (4.33" x 7.01") in size[3]
"B Format" paperbacks are 129mm x 198mm (5.12" x 7.8")[3]
"C Format" (trade paperbacks) are 135mm x 216mm (5.32" x 8.51").[3]

The US differ a little to Australia (in paper sizing and terminology). Where are you printing the book Jesper? If in Australia I'd suggest C format (234x153mm), if in the States then follow their C format sizing (which is the equivalent of the Australian Demy format). C format (234x153mm) is a popuiar size in Australia, especially for the book you describe.

Hi probably with dpublishing.com.au. Their definition is as follows:

C Format is popular for both paperback and hardback books. It measures 153mm W x 234mm H. This is sometimes called "trade paperback" size. We recommend you use this template for non-fiction, including books with black and white illustrations. http://www.dpublishing.com/help/getting-started.aspx

So it is Australian C format I want. Thank you!
