Brief de Design de Logo
We are after a new logo design for an existing Coffee Roasting company, called Excelso. This new design should be "New York" style, targeting discerning coffee drinkers.
The logo should be fairly colour neutral (black/white/greyscale plus possibly one other colour). Must be appropriate for a wide variety of applications, as it will be used on their website, printed media, packaging, stationary, etc. If the single colour can be altered that would be a plus, so that the logo can be adapted to different packaging of coffee types. Must also look good in a purely black and white version.
The logo should look modern and classy.

Thanks very much everyone for your designs so far. Unfortunately due to an absolutely overwhelming number of design submissions, I'm unable to give individual feedback on designs. However please be assured that we will be looking through all 162 designs (so far) and will get back to anyone that we would like to hear further from. If we'd like to see any alterations we will be sure to let you know (we are a website design company so will be sure to keep our clients eyes open to all applications of each design and the potential alterations, and not to discount a design if there is a single aspect that they don't like!)

Thank you all for your designs, they were excellent! The winning design has been chosen, and we have distributed two participation payments to designers who were not chosen but who came up with some great designs and put in a lot of effort.

- The design MUST look good when printed in black and white, and should use fairly neutral colours (max one colour, plus black/white/greyscales. Multiple shades of a single colour are fine)

- It would be nice if the design would look good in a variety of colours (but only ever one at a time). I hope that makes sense...?

- It does not have to be similar to the existing logo at all. Please don't feel constrained by what has been done in the past. I only upload the existing logo to give you an idea of where they have come from, and how the logo will be used.
