Very interesting submissions. I'm finding the attachment to "Firehall" is a bit too blatant in some. This is a theatre company first. The "Firehall" refers to its distant history, so any reference to fire should be subtle. Any usage of the "Tragedy/Comedy" masks should also be subtle (because they are SO overused in popular culture).

Not sure if anyone reads this 'discussion board' or not. But there's another design element you COULD try to work into it. It's optional.

There's a local landmark known as the "Medicine Hat Saamis Tepee" (or the world's largest tepee... a north american indigenous dwelling) You could try to incorporate it into the design. NOT necessary, but could give you another visual element to work with. If used with the 'fire' visual, we don't want it to look like the tepee is burning down. But I'm just trying to give some visual inspiration.

THank you for ALL of the submissions. I know I wasn't able to comment on all of them, and I apologize for that. It was a solid effort all around, and we had some very good designs submitted. In the end, the client decided to go for the design that appealed to them the most.
