Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for an ammunition (handgun & rifle - not mass destruction) manufacturing company based in San Diego, CA.

Attached is a logo that I really liked but it is taken by a beer brewery of the same name (bummer). We would like to see similar concepts but just different enough to not get sued.

We are envisioning the silhouette (white background black silhouette) of a Corinthian helmet with officer plumage scarred after battle. Preferably one looking forward but could also be looking to the right.

For the font of the letters, it would be great to see either 1) a font that has or resembles Greek letters or 2) a "formal", "professional" font with an element related to the shooting or a bullet pathway.
