Would it be possible to get a few pictures of the tools used to measure the decay? Thanks

Hi Electric Llama,
One of the tools that we use is a resistograph, which can be seen on this website: http://www.rinntech.de/content/view/8/34/lang,english/
Otherwise, we would remove small samples of the wood with ordinary hand tools and send them to a laboratory for analysis.
