We need a logo design for a new rot treatment company based in New Zealand called TechRot.
Services offered by the company are as follows:

1. Measurement of the extent of timber decay in residential and commercial buildings that now show water ingress problems due to poor building practices at the time of construction. We use scientific and specialised equipment for data collection and professional staff members to provide expert opinions to clients on the requirement for the quantity of timber replacement due to decay.

2. Application of remedial timber treatments to in situ timber framing. This treatment is specially formulated to provide maximum life span to the timber framing. All treatments are recorded and stored for future reference.

This company operates in the leaky building sector and provides assurance to owners and potential future buyer of leaky buildings that the building's timber wall structure was sufficiently remediated to comply with the building code at the time the repair work was carried out.

It is important that the company is perceived as independent and professional, and that our services (timber treatment and opinions to clients) are based on sound science and in-depth technical knowledge.
