Message to all the designers:

(1) Try to keep "Chemical Rhetoric" together on the same line. So, avoid designs that place Chemical on it's own, and then "rhetoric group" below it. I would like people to see that we study "Chemical Rhetoric."

(2) I really like a good picture. What I'm learning during this process is that I love designs where the artist shows me a great image. At some level, that's what led me to this process. I want to have a picture (say, of Marie Curie) that turns heads and makes people realize, "Wow, where did she get that cool image for the logo?" So, less business design, and more "head turning, bad ass artwork" design. :)

(3) I like designs that give a sense of history. We study history, and if the design has a hint of that (or even more than a hint), I tend to respond favorably.

(4) I'm still looking for a design that has a drawing of Marie Curie. That would be awesome!

Message to all the designers:

(1) I love the Marie/Irene Curie designs. I have several of those in the works now, and they are progressing nicely. I also like the alchemy imagery I am seeing.

(2) If someone is looking for an alternative design to pitch: Since it is "Chemical Rhetoric" I would love to see some designs with dripping books, letters, or even chemists or speakers who appear to be made out of chemicals.

I added $100 payments for 2nd and 3rd place as there are currently multiple designs I like (and want to buy). I may end up buying several, so our group has lots of visuals to work with.
