Hi Martin,

Great question!!! I love the cover of the Australian version, and I want to keep the colours, I also really like the image of the tree. The main difference is I want the international version to be TEXT based rather than IMAGE based, so the title and subtitle should take up the majority of the cover.

Thank you all for your designs so far, they have helped me greatly to firm up what i''m hoping for for Becoming Us. The most important thing is I am looking for a TEXT based cover, so large text (both title and subtitle) and small image (or images). I would like the images to convey: growth, love, that the book is inclusive of all parents, including gay and lesbian so I don''t want a male, female and baby image. I also want to convey that the book isn''t just for first time parents. An image (or images) that represent that the relationship between two loving parents produces two or three happy and emotionally healthy children would be ideal. 

In terms of ''feel'' I like the painterly effect as it matches the Australian cover and also a slightly ''retro'' vibe which could be conveyed in the font perhaps. Colours to match the Australian version as well.
