Hi Marilena, thank you for accepting the invitation, mama means mother, and taro is a plant name native to southeast asia (can be roasted, baked or boiled, one very popular dish is taro cake). Mamataro also sounds like momotaro (a popular hero from Japanese legend). We are in Indonesia, the country of Bali Island :)

Momotaro came to Earth inside a giant peach, which was found floating down a river by an old, childless woman who was washing clothes there. The woman and her husband discovered the child when they tried to open the peach to eat it.
