Although I appreciate the invitation, you need an illustrator to bring your cover to life.

I don't have the skill set to accomplish that.

Cool book though - would be interested in reading it when it's published.

As I'm considering digitally drawing a cover design for you, I just want to clarify a few details with you just in case.

Firstly - Ebook.
- the dimensions given - portrait or landscape?
- with it being an e book you surely wouldn't have the spine or back synopsis as such information would be on amazon, so is only the front cover desired for the ebook - (therefore the 1563x2500 pxls would be strictly for the front cover, correct)?

Secondly - Lulu.com
- again portrait or landscape for the given dimensions?
- the front, spine and back cover - is that all to be one image with those dimensions or is it front cover 6.125x9.25 and repeat for back (as you requested two separate files for front and back I am somewhat confused as to where to fit in the spine - all in a third file of the completed cover including spine or are you doing the spine yourself etc?)

Lots of questions I know but if I'm drawing it - id rather start on the right foot. Thank you for your time.

Hi, thanks for your questions and sorry if I've confused you!
The main file is a standard jpeg of the image that can be used for the ebook cover etc.
For lulu to create printed versions I've found it best not to use their one cover design as it never gets things in the right place. So it's easier to ask for the front cover, the back cover and then the spine as separate files. The spine can just be in the same colour theme and book title plus author name, if that makes sense. If not i'll pull of the exact guidance from the lulu site but essentially onto their cover design wizard you add each file separately (front, spine, back)... Thanks, Lee.

Hi, thanks for your design submission. I was up to date with feedback up until 2 days ago and sadly work was very busy. I have sent some feedback now, with the main issue being the full brief not used and where designers have followed it they have sent through some stronger designs. Hi, thanks to all designers who submitted their work. I will be setting up a poll with friends to give me feedback on the designs which will run from Friday to Monday. I will then send more detailed feedback and make a decision by Wednesday 15th next week.
