This is like a joke contest really because Country doesn't mean anything.

And at the risk of getting shot here, just because some people are in the top 10 here, what ever nation, it doesn't mean they are a better designer, lets be honest, just look at the portfolios.

To fellow Pinoys out there please don't be afraid to try and participate and show a lot of people what you can do. You don't know you might surprise yourself.

Not to be arrogant or anything, I will NOT be participating as I want to give a chance to other Pinoys, especially those starting out. Know that even if I did participate, it will not be assured that I'd win as everybody has a fair chance of winning and many are even much better than me. ^^

Moreover, This is a Philippine based project, project owner stated ONLY Filipinos can join - so just leave it to Filipinos only. You don't have to enter the contest just to show your best design.
WE are designers so we have our own talent - unique talent. Make this contest a motivation to your success as a designer.

I certainly agree with Samurai. I too is not assured of winning the competition but I have been with Designcrowd for almost 2 years now, it is only fair that I do not participate in a competition that encourages new designers/members of the site to showcase their creativity and talent. :)

A big thanks to the Project owner for providing this wonderful opportunity for Pinoy designers!

Dear Art Samurai and Art Tank, thank you for your positive words! I hope it encourages the designer community to participate. You guys totally get the intent behind the contest: to unearth and promote the emerging (awesome) designer talent in the Philippines.

Great job to bow out guys, my respect goes to you both, new phillies have a chance, not that they couldn't beat you guys :P

but DC ranks by earnings this only means people that started late have to catch up.

So it is unfair, same goes with other countries, just because im rank 2nd uk doesn't mean its true, i have only 2 years experience.

Anyways i feel so warmed by both the guys comments, principals matter here as a community and respect :)
