Brief de Design de Logo
The Livestrong Foundation is a leading US based cancer support, research and advocacy organisation.
Designers, help the foundation leave the association with Lance Armstrong in the past and promote their new name with a new logo design!
Background:
Lance Armstrong's name has been tarnished forever since he admitted to being a drug cheat in a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey. But it's not just his personal brand that has taken a massive whack. Livestrong, the foundation Armstrong founded to help people living with cancer, is also in damage control, and perhaps understandably trying to distance itself from a man the world once revered. In it's efforts to escape unscathed from the doping scandel, Livestrong recently added "Foundation" to its name and created a new logo placing an emphasis on the Foundation part of the name.
Livestrong's Executive VP of operations Andy Miller described the change as "subtle" but "substantive" and said the positioning of the bars suggests "forward and dynamic movement."
The logo has been subject to criticism from some in the design community, with one particular complaint being that the "strong" part of the name (the obvious link to Armstrong) should not be emboldened...the thinking is that if anything, it should be the "live" part of the logo that is highlighted.

3. Feel free to completely re-interpret the logo design, or to keep it aligned with existing branding. The choice is yours.
