Since Angus graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Sciences majoring in Design Studies, he has worked in Wellington and is now once ...more Since Angus graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Sciences majoring in Design Studies, he has worked in Wellington and is now once again resident in Dunedin. Angus was contracted to the Sustainable Future Institute, where he was director in charge of a national strategy publication with three fellow designers working under his instruction. They prepared Report 12 , a multi-page workbook for the StrategyNZ conference. Following this contract Angus worked for the Victoria University Bookshop, where he used his design training creating in-store promotions and advertising. Angus' freelance portfolio includes clients such as the Otago Festival of the Arts , for whom he developed the 2010 programme brand, the Wellington Jazz Festival , London's Southbank Sinfonia and the Anghiari Arts Festival in Italy. Angus has designed a book sleeve and CD packaging for commercial products by staff at the University of Otago, and undertook a year of brand development for a band called OK! Crazy Fiction Lady . Angus has also just finished rebranding the Dunedin City Choir for it's upcoming sesquicentennial anniversary celebration. His flagship project is designing a publication that he co-founded in early 2011 called Foundry Magazine . This is a digitally distributed, non-profit music publication focused on bringing quality long-form content to New Zealanders interested in homegrown talent and perceptive music journalism.
