CrossFit Gyms
The growth of CrossFit Gyms (or boxes, as they are called by members) is an amazing world-wide phenomenon. More than 3,400 gyms ranging from "garage gyms" to massive retail locations have opened in recent years. The philosophy for workouts at the gym is built around is "constantly varied (if not random), high intensity, functional movement". Each gym does what is called a WOD, or Workout of the Day. Workouts are typically short-20 minutes or less-and intense, demanding all-out physical exertion.
The growth of the gyms, mainly in the United States, has generally come from military veterans, police officers and fireman. However, CrossFit box owners are mostly trainers and not necessarily skilled in operating or marketing a business. Our company is launching a new platform for boxes to purchase inexpensive template websites and other marketing materials.
