The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is hosting the second annual Delaware & Lehigh Heritage Marathon/Half Marathon this November. The tag line for the event is "Gear-up to Make History". This unique race is run mostly on trails. The Corridor's story is the discovery of anthracite coal in the Northeast, the building of the Delaware and Lehigh Canals to transport the coal to seaport cities and its contribution to the American Industrial Revolution. Last year we used the Marathon logo for the design on front of the t-shirt, this year we want a design that captures our historic significance in a fun way.
