Blown away by the response from DesignCrowd freelancers. While we eventually selected a fairly mainstream design, the diversity of concepts provided by a global market challenged our assumptions and stretched our boundaries. Overall, the quality of submissions was excellent making the final choice difficult. Designers were responsive and eager to please. DesignCrowd functionality and communication interfaces are well suited to the task. My assessment so far is that the crowd sourcing value proposition kills the traditional agency model on simple design work. Can't wait to test it on web and marketing projects that require greater depth of product, market and brand culture knowledge. I'll be back, over and over.
