"J" Logo Design Project

C'est ce que weekly J recherchait dans leur logo design

"SPORTS J" is a free weekly Japanese newspaper in the Northern California.
In April 2013, we will change our name Sports J to "weekly J" and we are looking for a new logo which will be the start of our new newspaper branding process.


A. weekly J concept:
Our main goal is to offer support to the community and we hope that our paper enriches our readers' life in the Bay Area.

B. Target reader
Main: 30's~60's female
Sub: Businessmen, students
(preferably, all age groups)

Our reader would be;
*interested in new restaurants in the Bay Area
*looking forward to find a local group where he/she can share common interests
*interested in learning things and catching up the latest trends
*following current Japanese issues.

C. Logo requirements & concepts:
1) weekly J logo must be emphasized the letter J. The ideal logo should help our reader remember our publication name as "J".
