Design Brief

Brand name: soulprofess

I am a DJ that plays hiphop and soul music and I host a radio show. Profess is not short for professor. Here it means to assert or announce. It’s bold and opinionated.

I’d like the wordmark to convey a bold perspective.

Type of logo
I need a wordmark but it can be all letters or a combination of letters and symbols incorporating elements of a clubstyle turntable, a dj cartridge. PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW the attached files for inspiration. Please take note of the lines in the sideview and top view of the turntables.

I am also open to seeing the initials "SP" somewhere in the design.

It could also include imagery from a microphone or soundwaves convey the vocal elements of “profess”

I am open to upper and lower case letters.

Color: I use black often so the logo should be a bold color with black and white as alternative colorways.
