University Gym Logo wanted

C'est ce que Massey Uni Gym recherchait dans leur logo design

I'm looking for a gym or fitness logo to accompany our new gym name. The font and colors are somewhat restricted by the University design guidelines (see attached), however there is freedom to create a logo/icon to accompany the words. All designs will be printed on the blue background, so the design will have to be either gold or white. The logo/icon would accompany the name of our gym, not dominate it.

Some other design guides:
- Our gym is coed (boys and girls), but we find it difficult to capture the attention of 18-21 year old females. I hope the logo/icon can help with this (so the logo/icon can't be too masculine).
- We don't have group fitness.
- We are conventional strength training based (dumbbells and barbells over strength machines), but do have modern cross trainers and treadmills.
- However, we are not CrossFit and need to differentiate ourselves.
- We provide a welcoming and supportive fitness environment, not a competitive or ego driven image environment.
