Rebranding our neighborhood bar!

We are looking to refresh and redesign our logo for our neighborhood bar located in a thriving downtown district that has recently been revitalized. The area is frequented by affluent, trendy, and diverse people from 12 years to 80 years of age. There are a lot of restaurants, bars and boutiques type shops in the area. There is also a new Hilton Boutique hotel being built across the street. We would like to appeal to more of this crowd which frequents the area. There are also a lot of tourists in the area but we tend to target the local service industry crowd and the young military crowd that is in the area. We are also known for our wide whiskey selection and have leaned toward our Irish roots. We are located approximately 1/2 mile from the gulf of Mexico in a mid sized beach town. I am attaching a copy of the existing logo. Ideally the logo would look nice on either a t-shirt, vinyl window sign, or a sandblasted sign to be hung on the building.
