Photographers logo

C'est ce que Kathryn Jolly Photography recherchait dans leur logo design

I already have a logo, but now that I started shooting weddings for the last year, my current logo is a bit more aimed at mums with kids and families.
I want to keep the words

I would like the logo to be just a black colour so I can change opacity and make it grey or white, whatever. I still wish to have red, as may packaging has red in it and I love red colour.
I would like to add …...a red bullfinch bird (http://pl.clipartlogo.com/premium/detail/winter-card-with-bullfinch_118680916.html)…...to my logo (it's a long story, lol). I also love red hearts, and I am quite obsessive about them, so they are also part of my packaging. Not sure if I can have both the bird and hearts or if it will look weird. I would like to have a less whimsical font in my new logo (as opposed to my old logo). I do not however want it to be too modern.
