Logo Design

C'est ce que Hancock Homes recherchait dans leur logo design

I need a logo design for my company - Hancock Homes. I am a home builder in the Austin, Texas area.
1. I was thinking I should play off the "John Hancock" name. Stately and patriotic. (but not corny)
2. Also....The area I live and work in is called the "Texas Hill Country". We have a lot of hills, lakes, and rivers.
If possible.....I would like to incorporate both of these ideas into the logo. However, if I am trying to get too much into the design....I would rather make #2. the main theme.
