C'est ce que Mills Sign & Painting Service recherchait dans leur logo design

Help Please! We need to badly update our tired logo!
We are a 50 yo company that covers a number of niche areas in different industries. 1. commercial paint new apartment buildings, motels etc,2. commercial abrasive blast and protective coat large mining machinery through to cast iron tables and chairs, 3. install fuel pump stations, and 4. clean large industrial tanks.
Regarding the original logo - we would like to keep the man for historical reasons (but can be stylised, coloured, refreshed...) and use the red colour.
We will also be looking to update our web page as the next project....
The logo will need to go on letterheads, emails, business cards, vans, front of office.
