Logo and card for Australian electrical business

C'est ce que electromaintenance recherchait dans leur logo design

We have a couple of deliverables we'd like for this project but have lumped them all in 1 project as the client would like to see the overall picture of how the designs will fit together.

There are 2 sides to the business:
1. electromaintenance - an electrical contracting business with a focus on maintenance work
2. electrotraders - an under construction online store (www.electrotraders.com.au) selling new and used electrical equipment online (sockets, light fittings, fans etc)

The client would like the following:
1. a logo for both electromaintenance and electrotraders - comprising one original concept and then its use for both logos. The 2 businesses fit together and as such the logo designs are envisioned to be similar but also distinguish the differences (like the main google style is used with google adwords, google adsense etc). Perhaps the 'electro' would be in a constant colour but the 'traders' and 'maintenance' would use other colours?
