Prevent is a multinational clinical trial to prevent rheumatic heart disease (RHD) among children, by focussing on primary prevention within a school program. Primary prevention includes rapid antigen tests done by school nurses to detect infection. Children aged 9 to 17 years from Sambia and Nepal are included in the study.
