Our new company, ItsWood, is a collaboration between two established building material companies in Tennessee. We are treating wood with a new technology revolutionizing the wood industry.
The system is called “thermally modified hardwood.” This innovative wood process not only makes the wood harder but also weather-resistant. Whether you live in freezing temperatures, rainy wet areas, or areas with extreme heat, both dry and wet, our ItsWood product lasts three to four times longer than other hardwoods while keeping its beauty. What's more, it boasts a 0-negative carbon footprint, making it the most environmentally friendly construction material available today.
Currently, we're manufacturing outdoor decking, exterior home siding, interior flooring, and trim pieces for decks, windows, and more. As the market evolves, we'll expand our product line, but this is our starting point.
