We built GRAVL with a simple idea. That every life ever saved started with research. From the ground up!

We are a Boston-based start-up going through Techstars.

Unfortunately, many of the most cutting-edge life-saving research tools are hidden inside of large universities making it hard for scientists to find them. So we built a platform for universities with a frontend that digitizes all their services under their own brand supported with a back end that handles all the hard sample submission details for biological samples. We bring new business to universities while improving access.

We need to focus on the ideas that research is the basis for all life-saving treatments, tools etc. Concepts around "gravel" as in the dirt or as in searching for answers. Or concepts around the foundation. Or even consider that "GRAVL:" means nothing and come up with a simple like a lightbulb. Or ideas around how things are connected.
