Trek Partners logo design for PowerPoint slides, website, and other corporate uses

Trek Partners is an investment banking firm, so the logo needs to be clean and professional in nature and not "cartoon-y". I prefer clean, yet creative logos. I am a fan of using logo letters in creative ways. I am envisioning either the use of arrows somehow, perhaps as a fork in the road of the letter k in Trek or throughout the word Trek, or maybe some sort of indication of a forest trail or clean line mountain incorporated somehow. I think the word Partners could be something simpler, but am open to creativity in that as well. I want our logo to convey that we are a firm that will help our clients as they go through the journey of their transaction with Trek Partners as their trusted advisor every step of the way. I am open to a variety of colors or even black and white, and I was thinking that being able to change the color scheme of the logo easily would be a great thing if we wanted to match it to a client, for example.
