Logo for a sail boat on Lake Michigan for luck and guidance of its crew!

I would like to have a seal head logo designed for my boat. It cannot be "cartoon like". This is a sign of good luck, it should look at you with a sense of seeing your heart. There should be a bit of a"twinkle" in its eye and a slight upturn at the corners of its mouth because it is pleased to see you and knows you.

I've attached a copy of a photo that portrays my point, version of my approach to the logo and the location its to go on.
