Logo for YouTube Channel named "Semper Hike"

C'est ce que Semper Hike recherchait dans leur logo design

Task: Create a logo for a new YouTube Channel called Semper Hike, which will publish videos and create an online community to discuss hiking and backpacking from a Marine's perspective.

Background: Semper Fi (Semper Fidelis) is the Marine Corps motto and it means Always Faithful. As a former Marine, my channel will be called Semper Hike (meaning Always Hike). The channel will discuss backpacking tips, trips, trails, and tales. But it will also include Life Hacks or Hike Hacks, because hiking is also metaphor for the journey of life, so in a way, we're always hiking. In other words, Life is like a Hike. So the channel is about the Journey--Life and Hikes--from a Marine's perspective.

Concept: Like channel the name itself, I imagine that the logo might also be inspired by a combination of a Semper Fi bumper sticker (just Google it) and a hiking symbol (again, Google it). But remember, I'm a Marine, NOT a designer. So, I'm sure there are better concepts out there.
