Logo for Soft corn tortilla business

We need a logo for our company making fresh soft corn tortillas.
We would like the background of the logo to use the colour #1c2e41 and the text etc to use the colour #ffd700
We have some mock ups of the design already (attached) but would like some options when it comes to overall shape and details.
We quite like the idea of a circular logo (tortillas are circular after all), possibly similar to the mock ups but with a gold ring around the whole thing and maybe a subtle hint in the text like one of the letters being a corn husk. The whole thing needs to be fairly minimalist and classy, definitely nothing cheesy and Mexican. We are open to the fonts used but it needs to be able to be read easily. Voir plus
