new logo for newly purchased florist with very dated logo (38 years old)

C'est ce que Swan Cove flowers recherchait dans leur logo design

My sister and I went into a partnership purchasing a local florist shop in a very high-end up scale town. the current design has a bright purple background with white cursive writing and the S in swan and the C in cove are both cartoon picutres of swans. There are also vertical strips in the background, its terribe. We are looking for something fresh, modern, clean yet bold and eye catching. We are open to professional opinions, also open to keeping the swans if the updated look fits. I believe incorporating a flower design would be nice, something that casacades off the lettering?
