Point Academy, childcare for infants through 12 year olds

C'est ce que "Pointe Academy" recherchait dans leur logo design

Pointe Academy is a new non-profit Christian-based childcare facility. We are looking for a clean modern elegant logo, not juvenile. We would like to be subtle with the Christian point of view. We are thinking a compass would work well with the name and can be used to show how we are helping parents point their children to Christ.
The sponsoring church is www.HP.church we would like to try and use the same color scheme and font as their logo. I would like one version with “A Ministry of High Pointe”
