Disaster Relief - Task Group Kiwi

C'est ce que Task Group Kiwi recherchait dans leur logo design

UPDATE: I'm interested in incorporating the black square/diamond (example image attached) in the design, with the image of the kiwi inside the diamond.

I'm after a logo for a new disaster relief organisation, simple but recognisable.

Ideally, the colours would be black and white, in line with the colour scheme often associated with New Zealand, however I'm open to other colours (potentially blue #012169).

The logo should include the text and an image of a kiwi, similar (but not exactly the same) as the kiwi symbol used by the New Zealand Defence Force (attached, 'Kiwi').
