Electrical and technology company needs a logo that stands out from the crowd

I need a logo for an electrical company in New Zealand. We are a company that specialises in electrical, home automation, home networks, audio visual, security and CCTV. I am unsure on colours but something smart and classy is what I’m after. Black, white or blue and an orange maybe.
