Chapter logo for an international conservation non-profit

We are a chapter of a national non-profit conservation organization. We are in need of a new logo. Our current logo is attached and it is way too "busy" and ugly.
The new logo needs to include the national logo (red SCI block letters and “first for hunters” tagline), as well as our chapter name “National Capital Chapter”. We want something simple, so it’s easy to use on clothing and stationary. It needs to have a Washington, DC theme, but cannot use the Capitol building as another chapter already uses it (see the example that is "Washington Metro Chapter"). We also encompass multiple states, so it shouldn't be the outline of the District of Columbia. Our initial thoughts are that the logo should include the Washington Monument, as well as maybe silhouettes of the Lincoln Memorial and/or the Jefferson Memorial. It could also include cherry blossoms or deer antlers, as we are affiliated with hunting and animal conservation. Something simple is preferred to something comple… Voir plus
