Bold, Creative, Logo Design - Digby Law Firm

C'est ce que Digby Law Firm recherchait dans leur logo design

I need a bold, clever logo design for my husband's criminal defense and family law practice. I would like to incorporate navy and gold as my colors or dark green and gold. They are a group of professionals in business suits and ties ....I thought maybe using a tie of some sort may be interesting? We also thought about playing with the "D" above the words Digby Law Firm. We like the idea of a shield. We just want something different and NO scales of justice. I will attach the current logo.
