Construction/maintenance company logo

C'est ce que Reader recherchait dans leur logo design

I'm looking for a logo for a construction/maintenance business in the UK. The logo needs to look great on paper, uniforms and vans, so both small on printed on a shirt, but also huge on the side of a van. I want to avoid anything with construction related graphics. Reader is a name, so also don't want anything related to reading/books. The business works for big corporate clients rather than residential so something that says large, professional business rather than local handyman. I like the idea of a bold letter R but not set in stone, it'll be nice to see some ideas of a word (Reader) based logo. I like the logo attached with the colour pixel (sort of) shapes surrounding the letter but am completely open to other ideas. I've added a couple of others i like too. There's no fixed colour scheme, but would like something bright and recognisable that shows professionalism and quality.
