Australian Environmental Data Telemetry Company Needs a Logo Design

We need a logo design for a new Australian company called Specialized Data Services.
The company develops innovative systems to automatically monitor environmental parameters and deliver that data to the web using a variety of communications technologies (cell phones, satellite, radio, etc).
These services are primarily used by organizations managing natural resources and/or those companies whose operations include an environmental monitoring and reporting requirement.
The design should be modern and simple (not too cluttered or busy) and give a feeling of trust and quality, so that the client can feel confident in the security of their data as it is often sensitive in its nature.
The colours that I'd like to see in the design are predominantly blue and black. Voir plus
