100 Mile Meals

I am launching a TV show and webcast that is focused on the local food movement. Fresh, local ingredients...where they come from and how they get to market. We will focus on organic and healthy regional produce, meat and seafood. We profile the providers and the chefs and restaurants that create menus and deliver "100 mile meals" to the adoring public.
I need a logo that incorporates food (tastes), movement but local or "close by" gathering.

100 miles is the rough standard for the distance in shipping for a product to be defined "local"
The logo will be used in TV promos and the show open and closing credits. We also use it on screen as a watermark to Identify the show /video. Usually in the lower corner.
Something elemental or icon would be better than print heavy, as it will be an onscreen shape that should grow recognizable.
