International online design store needs elegant logo

C'est ce que D recherchait dans leur logo design

We are going to set up an online global store to sell exclusive and trendy designed garments, homewares and artefacts. The name of the company is "Dezinery". we are looking for assistance with the branding starting with a logo. We would like just the letter 'D' as the logo.

Our criteria is that the logo should be simple, sophisticated. We are currently leaning towards shades of greys/silver. We envisage our website will be these shades with the occasional splash of a brighter colour. The logo should be easy to transpose to our stationery, labels etc (including linen clothes tags).

The logo should be strong and elegant. We are catering to a discerning female audience. We want a sharp, linear, minimalist look (nothing floral or pretty please!). I'm currently inspired by my notebook (google "cuaderno" for inspiration). See if you can do something with the "barred out" font. Think Danish/Scandinavian design!
