VERB is a new social networking site based in Sydney, Australia. The site functions similar to other social networks like Facebook but with a focus on active, intellectual, "on the go' people.

Whereas on Facebook people often post everything, including mundane, everyday things, on VERB we encourage people to "Post Your Passion". Things that you really care about. If you think of Facebook as a big box store like Walmart or Target, where everything is all over the place, VERB is more like a mall full of boutiques, where you see only the things that you really want to see. VERB is a place to get inspired, to inspire others and to share thoughts and ideas that people get excited about. VERB in speech means action [be, run, conceive] and our target focus is on active people who might wake up in the morning and go surfing, before heading to a job they love and then off to an evening out with friends.
