Mothers Moving Forward

C'est ce que Mothers Moving Forward ( tagline: support for single mothers) recherchait dans leur logo design

We need a logo / banner design for Mothers Moving Forward, a new organisation dedicated to supporting Australian single mothers and their children.
We are a not-for-profit group providing hands on advice and support regarding the practical aspects of single parenting life including employment and finances, specifically with a single mother's needs in mind. One of the key elements of our site is the ability to connect with other single mothers thereby reducing their social isolation. We want to develop a single mother community spirit and support group, so this is the aspect I'd like to encaptulate most in our logo if a conceptual symbol is developed.
We are open to colours that are nurturing,engaging, feminine yet strong - symbolic of what a single mother needs to be.
