Logo Design Project for Music Recording Studios

Hi - we need a logo for our soon to be launched recording studio. We encompass not only recording but also the production and promotion of music. We have facilities do make films and take photographs of musicians/bands too. We will use the logo on everything from CDs to large stage back-drops - so it needs to be scalable - from tiny to huge! It should be contemporary, not fussy, and can include the name of the studio - Skyhook Studios - maybe with a strap line 'Recording, Production, Promotion' (or similar) but the strap line is less important.
The logo could just be an image or a combination of text and image - we're waiting on your great ideas!
The attached files are just there to show how it might be possible to have a logo that can be 'split' for different uses. i.e just the 's' on, say, CDs but the full logo on letterheads etc. We're not after a logo that is based on the attached files - that's just an example - go with your ideas!
