Logo design for new insights (research) business

C'est ce que The Insights Grill recherchait dans leur logo design

I would like someone to design a logo for my new start up market research company which I'm calling The Insights Grill (My name is Ben Grill). I want it to look like a art deco american diner logo. I have a few pictures that I can share - the things I'd like the designer to consider playing with are: classic art deco font, a font that looks like neon/flouro lighting that connects together, art deco hortizontal lines, maybe a circle, maybe checkers (very art deco'y), maybe a little flame or smoke to play with the Grill connotation.
It should be a bit fun and playful - yet professional.

UPDATE: I've done a sketch on my own that I'd like to see brought to life. I'd like to see those horizontal art deco lines on the sides, the word Insights written with that scriptive neon lighting like the Johnny Rockets logo attached, and could you try the word GRILL underneath in all caps using that classic art deco font like you see in the Metro Diner image.
