Logo Design Project - MOTYPH

C'est ce que MOTYPH recherchait dans leur logo design

We need a logo design for a new tech startup in Seattle called 'MOTYPH'. We are focused on defining interaction and user experiences to help other startups ship quality products. Eventually, we also plan on creating our own product lines - based on the product brand that you'll be helping to create.

The MOTYPH name was created to show the influence of Motion, Typography, and Color on the overall experience - and is a bit of a word-play on 'motive' - essentially the core reason of why people do business or build a product. We push for a focus on getting the motive - the reason for the product - correct, and designing the entire experience around it.

For a color palette: we're keen on dark grays and lime green. We're looking for a logo that 'pops' when in color, but also has enough simplicity that it stands firm when in black & white.

For design direction: modern, yet professional. Clean lines - and a bit of an abstract design is okay.
