Brief de Web Design
I am opening a sustainable home consulting business. The core service areas will be lawn maintenance, sustainable landscape maintenance, Composting, Vermiculture, and Rain Harvesting. We will be designing sustainability programs metrics for the home owners and their families to demonstrate cost savings and the environmental impact of their efforts. We will use clean fueled equipment with a heavy emphasis electric powered equipment energized by solar powered chargers.
The purpose of the site:
Provide information on the company and services to potential customers.
Allow for customers to log in and schedule services, ask questions, pay bills and buy products.
Have a green living section with tips and resource's.
I will have a Facebook Page, Twitter, account Google Circle, and a Wordpress blog set up in the company name. I would like the web presents and social
media have the same theme, common vocabulary and navigation.

Hi Everyone. The project has been temporarily closed since the client will be posting a logo design project. It will be reopened after the client has acquired a logo design, to be provided for this project.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I would like to give the designers additional time to submit proposals and allow myself adequate time to review and work with designers. While I am anxious to get the website design done and up for use, I do not want either the designers nor myself to feel that this is being rushed and unnecessarily compromise the design process due to a date constraint. I would like to get the best design and website I can and find the right designer to work with to accomplish this goal.

Thank you for those who have submitted a design. I apologize for not having provided feedback to you, I was injured in an accident and have been unable to attend to work while I was recuperating. I am going to extend the design period for an additional 7 days after which I will be back to work fulltime and work towards making a final selection. I will be sending feedback to the designs previously submitted over the next few days. Thank you again to the designers who have submitted designs, your patients and understanding.

- I like techno sites that are not imposing and or intimidating, and that utilize technology in a way that makes the experience memorable.
I like sites that are easy and intuitive to navigate.
I like the home page to tell a story using sound, voice, graphics, pictures to guide the customer to the next page. I don't like looking at a borage of text blocks .
it needs to be able to schedule appointments and services, purchase merchandise, pay bills, offer feedback
the blog, website and if possible app should be an extension of each other and be easy to go from one to the other
