I need to convert a document I've written into an ebook for my marketing company, Red Stripe Strategy. The ebook, as mentioned, is about lessons I learned as a CIA officer that can be used for small business marketing. The title I'm thinking of right now "The Spy's Guide to Marketing: Secrets for Small Business Marketing from the CIA" (but I'm open to other suggestions). The design should, obviously, make playful use of the CIA theme but the key is PLAYFUL. It needs to be fun, engaging, exciting and very modern. Graphics and other design elements are good, so if there's something you think something could use a graphic to accompany the page, go for it. This will be serve as a downloadable ebook on my website, so I'd like there to be a place for a bio on the back and a hyperlinked call-to-action button for people to schedule a free marketing strategy session with my company (the link is avs.redstripestrategy.com/free-marketing-strategy-session). I need to have a final version done by 2/11 since I have a hard deadline to post it by 2/12.

Doit avoir
- It must be modern, engaging, and visual interesting. It also needs to easy to read so be careful with your font selection too. I'm a big fan of Helvetica Neue Light and similar style fonts (doesn't have to be Helvetica family but prefer some sans-serif). A poor selection of fonts is going to color my view of the entire design, so be careful. Red, black, and grey play into my logo and branding a lot now so variations of those are good. I use red hex #99000 for all red images on my website and in my marketing (see redstripestrategy.com). There should also be some graphics to illustrate the points made in the text. They need to feel like organic parts of the book, not just slapped in there. Check out some examples at http://www.hubspot.com/free-marketing-resources. Finally, please put hyperlinked social sharing icons for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, G+.
Ne doit pas comporter
- I'm wary of cartoonish images, but might be persuaded if they looked right. Small font isn't good either.
